Hey, Spokane! Here's everything you need to know to get this Friday started off right.

First, today's weather:

Here are the top three stories in Spokane today:

  1. The 2022 Spokane International Film Festival plans to offer a broad spectrum of cinematic perspectives. The Film Festival took a hiatus in 2021 but plans to come back this year in full force. This year, films will be available in person and virtually so people can stay safe during the pandemic. (The Spokesman-Review)
  2. Pharmacies across the Spokane area are giving out non-surgical N95 masks for free. The masks are received from the federal government with distribution being handled by local pharmacies in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19. Three masks will be available per person while supplies last. (KREM.com)
  3. YMCA of the Inland Northwest has purchased 15 acres of land at 5020 South Glenrose. The new property will be used to build a new facility in South Spokane. The new facility will offer many new accommodations such as walking trails, early learning childcare, pools, and a gymnasium. (KXLY Spokane)
