- Civil authorities announced a 911 outage emergency for Spokane. The outage began at 3:32 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 11 and ended early in the morning on Sunday, Dec. 12. The Emergency Communications 911 center was advised of a Lumen 911 outage in the Cheney and Spokane area. (KHQ Right Now)
- According to the Spokane Police Department, a woman is facing multiple assault charges for what she did with a gun Friday night in downtown Spokane. The department said she threatened a bus driver with a gun, before firing it at a different man shortly after. The Spokane Police Department said neither the bus driver nor the man she shot at was hurt. (KXLY Spokane)
- A wanted abduction suspect and the focus of an Amber Alert has been located and arrested in Spokane County. The suspect Jonathon W. Bowles was arrested after a short pursuit. The 15-year-old juvenile reportedly abducted by Bowles is safe, and she has been reunited with her family. (Press Release Desk)
