Welcome back, Spokane! It's Monday, so let's get you started with everything you need to know going on around town today.

Here are the top 3 stories in Spokane today:
- Yesterday, the beloved Bing Crosby Holiday Film Festival returned to Downtown Spokane for the first time since 2019. The all-day festival was held at the Bing Crosby Theater on W. Sprague Avenue and featured classic Christmastime films like "White Christmas," "Holiday Inn," and "Road to Bali." This year, the Theater partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest and asked festival-goers to bring an unwrapped gift for adults or teens. (FOX 28 Spokane)
- Spokane business owner Michael Brown is so well-known for helping local youth that Numerica Credit Union left him a $10,000 "tip" to support his mission. Brown, the proprietor of Fresh Soul Restaurant on E. 5th Ave., has made a practice of hiring teenagers to give them hands-on job experience in customer service and prepare them for a successful future. In recognition of his efforts, Brown received a $10,000 grant from the credit union, which will allow him to hire more young people and let them work longer hours, especially as minimum wage increases. - Spokane may get a white Christmas, as this week's forecast predicts snow showers. Temperatures will remain in the 30s through the next several days, with an 89 percent chance of mixed rain and snow on Thursday and snow showers currently expected for the holiday weekend. (Spokane Patch)
