Here are the top three stories in Spokane today:

  1. Catholic Charities Eastern Washington has announced a new affordable housing community for Spokane families experiencing homelessness. The Gonzaga Family Haven will be able to house 73 families, according to a press release. The housing community will offer case management, medical resources, substance abuse counseling, and other on-site services to the families. (KREM.com)
  2. The famous band ZZ Top is playing a show in Spokane this June. The band will be performing on Mar. 11 at the First Interstate Center for the Arts. Tickets can be purchased through TicketsWest with prices ranging between $40 and $150. (KHQ Right Now)
  3. Spokane's Cedar Coffee has raised over $30,000 in an effort to support Ukrainian families during the Russian invasion. Lines wrapped around the building while Cedar Coffee patrons waited to donate to the cause. The shop owners emigrated from Ukraine to Spokane in 2015. (KHQ Right Now)
