Here are the top three stories in Spokane today:

  1. Spokane City flags are being flown at half-staff to remember the life and legacy of former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. The first female U.S. Secretary of State died from cancer on Wednesday at the age of 84. She was chosen by President Bill Clinton in 1996 to serve as our country's top diplomat. (KREM.com)
  2. The Spokane Police Department has safely located a 9-year-old boy who went missing on Thursday morning. The child was last seen near Roosevelt Elementary School before being located by the department. The department has not released additional details about the case. (KHQ Right Now)
  3. The Spokane Regional Health District reported another data breach that occurred last month. The breach could have affected more than 1,200 people, according to the district. Information viewed could include test results, date of birth, and treatments. (KREM.com)
