From my notebook:

  • SpokAnimal C.A.R.E. recently announced resident kitty, Phoenix, is still available for adoption. SpokAnimal C.A.R.E. said, "Poor girl, the only kitty at the store not adopted last week - spent Christmas in the Petsmart South kitty room by herself. But she was fed well and snuggled." (Facebook)
  • Washington State Patrol sends their sincere apologies for using a Menorah graphic instead of the Kinara, which is the proper celebratory symbol for Kwanzaa, in a recent social media post. (Instagram)
  • Mac, the elf, had a great time at the historic Campbell House the other day. The Campbell House is open today from 10-5 today along with the color and sparkle of Tiffany treasures, hand-made Plateau tribal canoes, and striking American Indian and Pacific Northwest art, including a family maker space. It's a great way to spend a couple of hours after the holiday rush! (Facebook)
