- Spokane Valley's Barker Road will be receiving a $3 million improvement when the funding becomes available. The plan will widen and reconstruct the road while installing roundabouts at critical intersections. Traffic has increased on Barker Road throughout the last few years with a notable increase in commercial vehicle use. (KXLY Spokane)
- Spokane Valley-based Kaspien has named Brock Kowalchuk as its new interim CEO on Friday. Kowalchuk has been with Kaspien since 2018 when he was appointed senior vice president of finance. Kaspien helps brands grow on marketplace websites through software and services. (The Spokesman Review)
- Jim Gaffigan will be performing at the Spokane Arena this August. Gaffigan is a six-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, and producer. His Spokane Arena stop is part of his 2022 The Fun Tour. He has a new stand-up special called Comedy Monster on Netflix. (KXLY Spokane)
