- The City of Spokane Valley shared a resource list for people in need this winter. The services covered on this list include places those in need can find food and shelter and are available in both Spokane and Spokane Valley. Drop-in centers, food banks, and ER housing options are available. (KXLY Spokane)
- The Spokane City Council could spend more than fourteen million dollars in federal Covid relief funds to address the region's housing crisis. Spokane will receive more than $80 million as part of the American Rescue Plan, and $14 million of that award will be spent on issues related to housing. It will be discussed whether $6 million of that budget will be allocated to affordable housing. (Spokane Public Radio)
- Both the weather and COVID-19 have affected air travel as of late, canceling thousands of flights over the last few weeks. Spokane International Airport had its fair share of cancelations, putting vacations and holidays on hold for many. (KXLY Spokane)
