First, today's weather:

Here are the top three stories in Spokane today:

  1. Tickets to Paul McCartney's upcoming performance at the Spokane Arena sold out in minutes on Friday. Approximately 12,500 tickets were purchased to see McCartney's Apr. 28 show in Spokane, and the shows in Seattle also sold out. Matt Meyer, director of entertainment for Spokane Arena and First Interstate Center for the Arts, said more tickets may become available at a later date. For now, though, Spokane fans of McCartney who didn't secure tickets will have to look on sites like Stubhub. (The Spokesman-Review)
  2. Spokane's Dr. Ray Smith has agreed to pay $138,984 in a settlement related to fraudulently billing Washington State Medicaid. The doctor allegedly hired therapists who were not eligible for Medicaid but still billed Medicaid for their services. Medicaid provides health insurance for Washington's low-income population and fraudulently billing the service is against the law. (KXLY Spokane)
  3. The man who was found on the side of Fourth Avenue in Spokane Valley last week has been identified. Kevin McCabe, 39, was found dead on the 14100 block of East Fourth Avenue on Feb. 15 with an unknown cause of death. According to investigators, there are no signs of trauma to McCabe's body.
