Spokane Animal Rescue Gets $2K Donation
The award will be donated to RESCUE4ALL, a nonprofit animal rescue composed of volunteers and foster homes.

From Wheat & Associates: Wheat & Associates Insurance has been awarded $2,000 as a participant in the 2018 Safeco Insurance® Change Agents program, which rewards independent insurance agents whose volunteer efforts continue to make a difference in their communities. The award will be donated to RESCUE4ALL, a nonprofit animal rescue composed of volunteers and foster homes.
Vicky Green of Wheat & Associates Insurance was one of two agents nationwide who garnered the most attention on social media for their charitable efforts related to animal welfare in order to receive the $2,000 donation from Safeco Insurance. Agents were selected by submitting photos of their passion project, and 10 finalists were chosen. A Facebook album on the Safeco Insurance page was then created for a public voting contest. The two agents that received the most likes and comments on their photos are now recognized nationally as Change Agents.
Green from Wheat & Associates has been volunteering with Rescue4All for more than three years, helping with animals who are injured, ill or have serious medical issues. As a foster home-based rescue that takes in animals that no one else is willing or able to take in, the awarded $2,000 will contribute to the organization’s goal to secure a property sight to build an animal sanctuary. This will be a safe space serving as an intermediate for dogs to go from rescued to a loving home.
