  1. A family is seeking justice after a Spokane native was found dead in Cancun over Thanksgiving weekend. The victim, 26-year-old Sativa Transue, was found dead in a room on the fourth floor of a Cancun hotel. The suspect in her death, identified as Transue's boyfriend of three years, was arrested and remains in prison on murder charges. (KREM.com)
  2. The Spokane County Sheriff's Office is adding more than 200 pepper ball guns to the force by the end of Jan. The purchase, approved by the Board of County Commissioner's Office, will cost around $160,000. On Tuesday, 19 officers were trained on the new non-lethal weapons from Joshua Schirard, the director of law enforcement for Byrna Technologies, and those 19 officers will train the rest of the department.   3. Two young adults were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries early Wednesday morning, after a chase involving a suspected driver under the influence led to the crash near University in Spokane Valley. (KHQ Right Now)
