  1. The world will come together in a few days to tackle climate change and a Spokane native will have a seat at the table. Nate Beine went through various interviews, discussing his vocational goals, and how's he's been involved environmentally in Spokane– and he was selected! He's been studying biology and environmental studies at Whitworth for just over three years. United We Rescue - an organization still very much in its infancy - has a mission to help our community's first responders who may be having trouble processing the constant trauma they are exposed to. According to a 2019 study from Northwestern University, police officers and firefighters have a higher rate of suicide than the rest of the population. The CDC says officers and firefighters are more likely to die by suicide than in the line of duty while reporting EMS providers are 1.39 times more likely to die by suicide than the public.   3. A Spokane Valley mother is asking for the community's help in finding her 15-year-old son who went missing from Ridgeline High School in Liberty Lake. (FOX 28 Spokane)
