Here are the top three stories in Spokane today:
- The Spokane Boat Show is back this year, though COVID restrictions mean that it will look a little different than in the past. Instead of hosting the event at the Spokane Fair and Expo Center, organizers are planning a "Parade of Boats" with local boat dealers opening their showrooms to the public from Jan. 27 through Feb. 6. - Demolition permits for Joe Albi Stadium have officially been filed with the city of Spokane. The stadium, which seats almost 30,000, has been around since 1950 and has been used primarily for high school sports matches. Work is already underway for a new downtown stadium for Spokane Public Schools. (KXLY Spokane)
- Deputies are investigating a road rage-related shooting in north Spokane County that left a man hospitalized. The shooting seemingly stemmed from an argument about a passing incident near Blanchard Road. The victim was taken to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. (KHQ Right Now)
