🌱 Testing Site Infrastructure Failure​ + STA Transit Bus Stuck

Here are the top three stories in Spokane today:
- A COVID-19 testing site at Spokane Falls Community College closed on Thursday due to infrastructure failure. Heavy snow caused one of the center beams of the drive-through structure to collapse under its weight, rendering it unsafe for use. Those with appointments were notified, and the site's staff was transferred to the testing site at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center in Spokane Valley to help with the increased volume. - Three Spokane restaurants have temporarily closed due to COVID-19 infections among staff members. According to management, Zona Blanca Ceviche Bar, Casper Fry, and Magnolia American Brasserie will be closed for the rest of the week. Each of the three restaurants plans to reopen on Jan. 12. - On Thursday, an STA Transit Bus got stuck in heavy snow near 1st and Adams. According to the bus driver, a tow truck from Cheney was called to move the bus. No injuries were reported, however, drivers are cautioned to take it slow and leave plenty of following room in inclement weather. (KHQ Right Now)

- Spokane Public Schools had a two-hour delay on Thursday to allow the City of Spokane - Municipal Government time to plow major arterials and streets in and around schools. (Facebook)
- The Spokane County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing vulnerable adult, 20-year-old Emma J. O'Donnell. Spokane Valley Deputies are attempting to locate O'Donnell and are asking for the public's help. (Facebook)
- Mobius Discovery Center is closed this week for the installation of a new exhibit, Eat Well, Play Well! It will reopen on Saturday the 8th. (Facebook)
