- The city of Spokane is planning upgrades to its Cannon Street homeless shelter. The city expects to make improvements to the building's electrical system and a portable construction office, which houses several of the daytime services the shelter offers. (The Spokesman Review)
- The Western Hockey League announced the Spokane Chiefs have been cleared to resume team activities after all personnel and players on the active roster tested negative for COVID-19. The Chiefs returned to practice Monday for the first time since pausing team activities on Nov. 10, following the discovery of two positive tests for COVID-19. (spokanechiefs.com)
- Gusty winds Monday night knocked some signage off the Fox Theater in downtown Spokane.
As of Tuesday morning, the letter "O" on the Sprague side of the "FOX" signage was still missing. (KXLY Spokane)
