Here are the top three stories today in Spokane:
- A federal grand jury has indicted Spokane's Roshon Edward Thomas on wire fraud charges. According to the indictment, Thomas was given a $32,400 federal loan from the Small Business Association's Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program for a fictitious business. Thomas applied for the loan under the name I's Design and used his personal address. (KXLY Spokane)
- The Broadway show Wicked has arrived in Spokane. The show will be performing at the First Interstate Center for the Arts until Mar. 27. The performance is part of the U.S. National Tour that began in August of last year. (KXLY Spokane)
- The Department of Veterans Affairs has called for an expansion of health care services in Spokane. The department is now waiting on Congress and an independent commission to accept the recommendation. The recommendations are an attempt to update the department's services to match the needs of the modern veteran. (The Spokesman Review)
