- Due to the emergency warming center closure, Spokane City Council will address questions and concerns during a Thursday special session. There has been criticism for this closure and the city has responded by saying there is space in other local shelters. The special session will be held at 11 a.m. and can be accessed via livestream. - A man has been hospitalized after he was attacked with a machete in Spokane Valley Monday night. Two 18-year-olds and two juveniles confronted the victim near the Winco at Farr Road and Appleway Boulevard. After the attack, the suspects ran away but were found and arrested by the Sheriff's office. (KHQ Right Now)
