- Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a burglary call where the victim had just found an unknown man standing in her bedroom. The victim's adult son chased the suspect, who Deputies later arrested without incident. Later that day, the suspect, booked for Residential Burglary, was released by the courts on his own recognizance. (Press Release Desk)
- Spokane traffic officer shortage impacts neighborhood speeding, residents say. The Spokane Neighborhood Councils are calling for the return of traffic officers to crack down on speeding. They say it seems like more and more drivers are getting away with speeding throughout the city and they want more Spokane officers enforcing the speed limits. (KREM.com)
