• VIDEO: Street racers hit 107 mph in University Place, dashcam gives deputies key evidence (mynorthwest.com) — Two drivers were arrested for allegedly racing a Bugatti and a Porsche at up to 107 mph along Bridgeport Way in University Place, where the speed limit is 35. A Pierce County deputy on speed emphasis couldn't catch them, but a dashcam in one car, seized under Washington's tougher 2024 street-racing laws, provided key evidence and led to both vehicles being impounded.
