The two-day event featured several NCAA Championship programs and produced some of Eastern's lowest-ever 54‑hole scores, highlighting the course's continued draw for high‑level competition.
   

• Second Suspect Arrested in Connection with Deadly Chelan Hills Fire (dailyfly.com) — A 19-year-old University Place resident has been arrested in Tacoma on manslaughter, arson, and related charges tied to the deadly Chelan Hills Fire in Douglas County. Authorities allege several young adults discharged fireworks from a moving truck before the blaze, which killed an Orondo man, and say more suspects are still being sought as the investigation continues.
