• Two hospitalized, citation issued after three-car crash in Pierce County (thenewstribune.com) — A three-car crash on State Route 7 near Parkland sent two men from Roy and Tacoma to the hospital and also damaged a car driven by a 21-year-old woman from University Place, who was stopped in a turn lane. Troopers say the Roy driver ran a red light and was cited, and investigators report that drugs and alcohol were not factors.
