
Born September 10, 1935, in Conneaut, OH. He went to be with his Lord on January 4th, 2013 in Tacoma, Washington. For the past 20 years he has lived on Anderson Island, Washington.
He served 8 years in the U.S. Navy and worked for the U.S. Army for 16 years in a civilian capacity both at Ft. Lewis, Washington and Nuremberg, Germany.

He is survived by his 2 children, Robert Carlton Gerren and Renée Berryman; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, 2 brothers and an unofficially adopted “daughter” Michelle (Mickey) Dunn and “granddaughter” Noelle.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Renée, his grandchildren, Mickey and Noelle and his close friends. He gives God all the glory for each of these beautiful and precious gifts that have brought so much happiness into his life.
A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at Anderson Island Christian Fellowship at 9020 Eckenstam-Johnson Rd., Anderson Island, WA 98303 on Saturday, 01/12/13, at 3 p.m. The last ferry to the Island leaves the dock at 1:45 p.m. There will be a shuttle bus available from the dock to the church. Please send donations to Young Life in lieu of flowers.
