Seattle Center “Big Birthday Bash,” sponsored by Bartell Drugs, celebrates World’s Fair 50th anniversary with big line-up of free activities this Saturday (Sept. 8)

Seattle World’s Fair 50^th anniversary festivities take center stage with a big line-up of free activities at the Seattle Center Big Birthday Bash this Saturday (September 8) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Seattle Center. The event is sponsored by Bartell Drugs

With free admission, the Seattle Center Big Birthday Bash will offer fun activities geared for all ages. Wristbands for free rides in the “Playway” are available in advance at participating Bartell Drugs locations. Rides are limited on a first come, first-served basis.

The event will feature live entertainment, photo opportunities with local sports and entertainment VIPs, vintage car show, a Teatro ZinZanni open house and special offers, including free Monorail rides and free admission to EMP.

Bartell Drugs’ “Wellness Tent,” located next to the International Fountain, will offer discounted flu shots ($20) and free “take home” photos commemorating the special day:
