Seeking Volunteer Companions for Isolated Elderly in South King County

ElderFriends is a non-profit program that matches lonely and isolated elders with volunteer visitors for companionship and friendship. We serve elders from all over King county, but we currently have a large number of un-matched elders in South King County (Federal Way, Pacific, Auburn, Kent, Burien, SeaTac, Renton)

This is strictly a companionship program; chores and errands are not required but are optional. Training and on-going support are provided. There is a minimum commitment of at least two visits per month for one year. Background checks will be completed, and volunteers must be 18 or older.

For more information contact Alison Spanner, at
206-224-3793 or alisons@fulllifecare.org. You can also visit www.elderfriends.org and fill out our online volunteer application there. We look forward to hearing from you!
