Annie Wright Upper School Varsity Volleyball team finished second place out of 32 teams last weekend at the competitive SunDome Tournament in Yakima. The team was first in their bracket, with five wins and one loss, before moving on to defeat Grandview 25-16, 25-18 in the quarter finals and Cascade 23-25, 25-23, 15-6 in the semifinals. The team went on to battle hard against the defending 2A champions West Valley, winning the first set, but ultimately losing the final to the larger 2A school.
