Happy Mother's Day Mom!

Everyone seems to have something special they do to Honor their Mother on Mother's Day. What traditions do you have?

When I was a little girl growing up in Eugene, OR, every Sunday we'd get all dressed up for church, as we usually did. But Mother's Day was something special; we got to wear a flower as well, and in our case a rose, to signify whether or not our mother was still alive. Red for living and white for deceased. Everyone in our family, save my Great-Grandmother "Nana", wore a red rose. She wore white. There were so many of us who showed up for those special Sundays in honor of our mothers that we'd take a whole row....sometimes two! So, to honor my mother for Mother's Day I am posting a photo of a red rose.

What traditions do you have for celebrating Mother's Day?
