UPPC Examines "The Hole In Our Gospel" During Lent

Patch's newest blogger talks about how University Place Presbyterian Church (UPPC) Lent sermon series: Fill the W(h)oles, which parallels the book: The Hole in our Gospel.

University Place Presbyterian Church, (UPPC), is launching a new Lent sermon series, beginning Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m., called:
Fill the W(H)oles
, which will parallel the book: "The Hole in our Gospel" by Richard Sterns, president of World Vision. Fill in the W(H)oles in your own life and once again be made whole in Jesus, with Rev. Dr. Patrick H. Wrisley, Senior Pastor and Teaching Elder.

Following the Ash Wednesday service, join UPPC on Sunday mornings for worship during Lent, beginning Sunday, Feb. 26 at the 9:30 a.m. classic service or the 11 a.m. contemporary service. If you are interested in Adult Sunday School, attend Footsteps to the Cross | February 26-April 1 | 9:30 AM and
11 AM | UPPC Chapel. Walk-ins are welcome as we examine key Biblical narratives surrounding Jesus' journey to the cross.

The Hole in our Gospel is a new six-week Wednesday Night quest, beginning Feb. 29 at 6:15 PM @ UPPC in Fellowship Hall. Read the book together in a community of small groups. Register for the Wednesday quest to receive materials, then attend worship services on Sunday mornings to get the most out of this experience with a community of friends.

Nursery and Sunday School for children and youth are available at both the
