In the first installment of Diary of a Viking, University Place Patch introduces you to the rock on both sides of the ball for the Curtis football team.
Wasssup!
This is Cornelius Edison writing my first entry in the Diary of a Viking. I am very excited about this opportunity to work with University Place Patch to discuss my life as a student-athlete at Curtis High School.
Now a little bit about me. I am currently 17 years old, standing 6-foot-3 inches tall. I am a senior at Curtis High School. I participate on the Curtis football team as an offensive and defensive lineman. I have two brothers and a sister. My oldest brother, George, lives in Maryland and is 31 years old. Chris, my second brother, is 18 and he graduated from Curtis last year. He now attends Pacific Lutheran University and plays on the football team. My sister, Sherrell, is 27 and she lives in Sacramento, California. My parents are Cathleen and Vincent (I won't mention their age, they might kill me haha).

As senior year kicks off, I am thrilled to have a great football season at Curtis. The football team is doing well as we just came off of a great win against longtime rival Pooyallup Vikings, I mean Puyallup, 48-7! I played decent after coming back from a bad cold earlier in the week. We have a big game this week against the Auburn Trojans for our non-league game. It should be an exciting game to watch so everyone should come out to support! The game is at home on Friday at 7 p.m.! I hope to see you there.
Welp, this was my first post. I hope you liked it! There will be more to come in the near future. Hasta Lavista!
