Curtis Girls Water Polo Falls to Gig Harbor Over the Weekend

The Tides pulled away in the final four minutes to take an 11-8 victory.

Over the weekend the Curtis girls water polo team battled against two-time defending state champions, the Gig Harbor Tides.

The game was close throughout with multiple lead changes, but with just over four minutes left to play the teams were tied up 8-8, but the Tides would eventually pull away by scoring two goals in the final 90 seconds to win 11-8.

Hannah Holly, Alissa Noland, and Caralee Rendell all had two goals for the
lady Viks and goal keeper Madeline Stauffacher had 12 saves and a team
high 6 steals."
