After Winter Break, the pool will offer a full schedule of lap and public swims.

University Place swimmers will get a wet, early Christmas gift this year.
The University Place School District announced on its website that the long-awaited, $7.5 million renovation and modernization of the Curtis High Aquatic Center is almost complete.

The delay and other issues also mean the school district will likely go to court to recover the cost from the project's contractor, Construction Enterprises Contractor, Inc.
Improvements include the addition of two more competition lanes, an enlarged diving well and expanded spectator seating.
