Double Murder In University Place: 2 Men Found Shot In Car
A neighbor called police after seeing the men appearing to be "passed out" in a car.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - Two men were found dead of gunshot wounds in a car parking in a quiet residential area of University Place early Monday morning.
A resident called 911 Monday morning after seeing two men "passed out" in a car. When deputies arrived, they found that the men were dead and had been shot. The car was discovered along the 6200 block of 63rd Street West, which is just a few blocks east of Bridgeport Way.
Police are asking University Place residents to check home surveillance footage. The sheriff's office reported that two men may have run from the scene heading north toward Alameda Avenue, 56th Street, and Cirque Drive West.

The last murder in University Place happened last June. A man was found inside a home along the 2100 block of Sunset Drive. His body had signs of "obvious trauma," the sheriff's office reported at the time.
