Driver Dies After Hitting Parked WSDOT Vehicle In Tacoma
The crash happened late Friday night near the 72nd Street exit along I-5 in Tacoma.

TACOMA, WA - A 30-year-old man died after crashing into a parked WSDOT truck while exiting I-5 in Tacoma. Three WSDOT workers in the truck were not injured in the crash. The cause is still under investigation.
According to Washington State Patrol, the driver was getting on I-5 at the 72nd Street exit at around 11 p.m. Friday when he hit the WSDOT truck, which was parked along the shoulder of the on-ramp. The crash closed the on-ramp for about 90 minutes, according to state police.
The driver of the car died at the hospital.
