Earthquake Shakes University Place Early Wednesday
The small earthquake hit around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - The U.S. Geological Survey measured a small earthquake centered near here early Wednesday morning.
A 2.6 magnitude quake hit just before 3:30 a.m. The quake was centered about 3 miles north of University Place and was at a depth of 8 kilometers, according to the USGS.
