Lakewood business owner, community activist and military veteran Paul Wagemann today announced that he has filed to run for the open seat (position 1) in the 28th Legislative District.

“With Representative to not seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my campaign and my constituency to seek election in the district’s open legislative seat,” said Wagemann.

“It would be an honor to represent the citizens of the 28th Legislative District in the Washington State Legislature.  Seeking election in the open seat will provide me with the best opportunity to represent my district at the State Capitol and advance my goals of job creation, reduced taxes, fiscal responsibility and improved education,” said Wagemann.

Paul Wagemann and his wife, Linda, have lived in Lakewood for over 20 years with their two sons. A retired U.S. Marine Corps pilot, he currently serves as a member of the Clover Park School Board, the Lakewood Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee, and is an active board member of the Lakewood YMCA.
