The Great Vigil of Easter is a dramatic Easter service from early Christian times.
We gather at duskto light a great fire, bring in the Easter candle, hear stories of salvation beginning with Genesis, celebrate Holy Baptism and all renew our baptismal vows, shout out the joy of Easter and bring in Easter lilies. The Resurrection is proclaimed and a Festive Eucharist is shared. A reception will follow the service.
