
Free CDBG Activites
We are excited to announce that we have received the CDBG funding to continue free excercise programs for seniors for the 2012-2013 grant year. Programs include:
- Qi Gong is an ancient art balancing and strengthening one's life force. Practioners use breathing, visualization, meditation and movement to collect and circulate life energy throughout the body.
- Chair Yoga is a wonderful way to experience the relaxation and increased flexibility that yoga brings. Many health benifits are seen with regular practice of yoga, and now everyone can participate
- Zumba Gold is a program that has been modified to meet the needs of older adults. Plan to enjoy the benefits and FUN of Zumba at a slower, easier pace. It's an effective, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
- T'ai Chi Chih is a class that will help you to relax, heighten energy, and balance the body and mind. Movements can be done standing or seated.
