The Friends of Homestead Park's Annual Plant Show and Sale begins with a community judged rhododendron and azalea show. The winners are chosen by people visiting the exhibit. Many past winners have come from University Place gardens! Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, "Best in Class" and "Best in Show" will be awarded on Sunday morning, May 1st, 2011.
Anyone can enter a truss to the show. To participate, bring your rhododendron and/or azalea trusses (blooms) to the University Place City Council Chambers on Friday, April 29th between 1:00PM to 5:00PM and on Saturday, April 30th between 8:00AM to 11:00AM.
