Making a Difference in UP Parks

Make a Difference Day is the national day of neighbors helping neighbors and citizens helping their community. The annual event held on the fourth Saturday of October.

This year the City of University Place Parks Department will be coordinating two park property cleanups.

The first cleanup site is located on 67th Avenue across from the Fircrest Golf course. Trash removal and clearing brush will be the primary goal at this location.

The second cleanup site will be the Brookside property, located on Brookside Way, across from the Curran Orchard. The goal at this location will be blackberry removal .
