Gas Leak In University Place Closes Major Street [Update]
The leak was reported along Cirque Drive, according to West Pierce fire.
Update: The gas leak was contained and Cirque Drive reopened as of 11:30 a.m. Friday.
UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - A possible gas leak closed a section of Cirque Drive in University Place Friday morning. The road was closed between Alameda and Orchard while crews from Puget Sound Energy work to fix the problem, according to West Pierce fire.
Crews responded to a gas leak on Cirque Dr in University Place. Road closed between Orchard and Alameda. Take alternate route. PSE on scene.
