Head to the Dome For Home Ideas -- Or Perhaps a New Home With Wheels

Looking for ideas for your home, or maybe a home away from home? This weekend, the Tacoma Dome will host the Tacoma Fall Home Show and Tacoma Fall RV Show.

Attendees can get into both shows, produced by O'Loughlin Trade Shows of Tacoma, Friday through Sunday for one admission fee. Parking is free.

Among the home show's offerings is the opportunity to meet with exhibitors showcasing everything from the latest furniture and appliances to decks and roofing. Those planning a home addition or remodel can meet with local contractors to see their past work and discuss their ideas.

On the RV side, the event kicks off the region's "show season" with an inventory of the latest campers, travel trailers, fifth-wheels, motor homes and park models. Dealers will be offering deals on 2011 models as well as pre-owned RVs. On-site financing will be available.

For those planning getaways, representatives from resorts and campgrounds will also be on hand, as well as exhibitors offering a range of products and services.

The shows run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $12 for adults and free for children ages 16 and under. Discount coupons are available at www.otshows.com.
