Homicide In University Place: Victim Had 'Obvious Trauma'
Neighbors along a quiet University Place street near Tacoma found the man dead Thursday morning.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - A man was found dead inside a home along a quiet street near the Tacoma border Thursday morning. Neighbors found the deceased man inside a home along the 2100 block of Sunset Drive around 11 a.m. after spotting his dog loose in the front yard.
Police released few details about the possible murder Thursday, but Pierce County Sheriff's Office spokesman Ed Troyer said that the victim had "obvious trauma," which spurred the homicide investigation.
