Sales from the lot, located at Bridgeport Way and 33rd Street West, will help pay for the University Place-based troop's summer camp.

No, the helpers at the Christmas tree lot in the heart of University Place aren't elves.
They're actually , who've made a tradition of freshly cut trees at Bridgeport Way and 33rd Street West for 51 straight years.

"This year we are offering trimmed Douglas Firs, Grand Firs, Noble Firs and beautiful 16 inch wreaths ... Our ccouts will display the trees for you, bagged the tree and load it too!"
If interested, the lot is open from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., weekends.
