Patch Looking For Bloggers To Cover Curtis Football

The Vikings went on an impressive run last year. We want people who can keep our readers part of this year's campaign.

Last year, the football team was dominant on its home turf.

It was just as impressive on the road. Before the Vikings’ run ended – – in the state semifinals, Coach Clay Angle took his team on an with a team that boasted at least four players who will play college football this fall.

This year, Angle’s Vikings are eying another run to the state playoffs, and Patch wants you, our users, to be part of it all.

Whatever you consider yourself, we want to hear from you. UP Patch supports the Viks and hopes this can be a place where supporters and fans can talk Curtis pigskin. Think Bleacher Report, only uber-local.

This isn’t a paid thing. This is a let-your-voice-be-heard-while-cheering-on-the-Vikings thing. Curtis pride is out there, and we want to celebrate it.

First game of the season is 7 p.m., this Friday, at home. We’d love to get some voices at the game, or perhaps even before.

If interested, shoot me an e-mail at brent.champaco@patch.com, or call me at 253-217-6060.

Thanks and go Viks.
