Patch Viewfinder: The Princess Promenade

The Princess Promenade is the public's first introduction to the Daffodil Royal Court.

The Princess Promenade is the public’s first introduction to the select young women chosen to participate in the Daffodil Royal Court from 23 surrounding high schools. They are competing for the title of 'Queen of the Festival,' in addition to educational scholarships. A queen is chosen based on the following qualities: academic standing, personality, attitude, speaking ability, appearance, sociability, content of their speech, festival awareness and impromptu speaking.

During the event, each woman received their Princess Tiara and a Golden Daffodil. The event was held at the Sharon McGavick Conference Center in Lakewood on Sat., Feb. 12.

Congratulations Claire Flemming of Curtis High for your achievements!
