Pierce County Will Hold Three-Day Filing Period For Vacant Seats
State law requires the Pierce County Auditor's Office to hold the three-day election period for positions that don't have any candidates.

A special three-day candidate filing period will be held June 29-July 1. State law requires a reopening of the filing period when no one files for a position during the regular filing period.
In-person candidate filings will be accepted at the Pierce County Election Center through Friday, July 1 at 4:30 p.m. A list of open offices and information about additional filing requirements can be foundΒ here.
Candidates filing for these offices will appear on the Nov. 8 General Election ballot.
