Playground by the Sound Needs A Big Volunteer Push
The project is in the final stretch of construction, but organizer Linda Bird says the effort needs lots of volunteers today and tomorrow to meet completion.
Just got this e-mail from Playground by the Sound organizer Linda Bird, who says the construction needs a final influx of volunteers by Sunday.
"Can you do a news flash asking for volunteers, especially 18 and older, to help finish the playground on time?" she write Patch. "Just tell them to come when they can and give the kids of UP Â a couple of hours of their time Saturday and Sunday (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) Thanks."
Consider the news flashed. If you can volunteer — and trust us, if Patchers can do it anyone can — head down to the North Meadow area of Chambers Creek Properties on Grandview Drive West.
