UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - Many Washingtonians will get the day off on Monday for Presidents Day, as evidenced by the many services that won't be available. Here's what's open, what's closed, and what's operating differently around Puget Sound for Presidents Day 2017.

• State government: all offices closed
• US Post Office: closed, no mail delivery
• Washington State Ferries: regular weekday service
• King County Metro: operating on normal weekly schedule
• Pierce Transit: weekday schedule
• Sound Transit: express buses on weekday schedule; Tacoma light rail on Sunday schedule; Sounder on weekday schedule
• City governments: all offices closed
• School districts: closed
• Pierce County Library: closed
• Tacoma Public Library: closed Saturday
• Tacoma Art Museum: closed
• Banks and credit unions: most will be closed - check with your banker
