Representative Green will announce her plans for the 2014 Election Cycle during her Post- Election Fundraiser

Representative Tami Green has announced that she will reveal her plans for the 2014 Election cycle during her upcoming post-election fundraiser. Green, who will celebrate her birthday at the event, turns 54 on November 9th. The event will be held Friday, November 8th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Holiday Inn Express, 11751 Pacific Hwy SW in Lakewood. The public is invited to attend.

Green, a registered nurse and fifth term representative, is the House Floor Majority Leader and is currently the only woman serving on the House Democratic Caucus Leadership team.  She serves on Appropriations, Health Care and Wellness, Labor and Workforce Development and the Rules Committee. Tami and her husband Don live in unincorporated Pierce County located between Lakewood and Steilacoom.  They have two married children and three grandchildren.
