Two of your Pierce County Departments are teaming up once again to show you ways how to live a more sustainable life. Pierce County Parks and Public Works present the Simply Sustainable Workshop Series Program. Learn the easiest and most effective ways to live an earth friendly life with The Three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, Food Waste Facts & Compost, Green Cleaning, and lastly a Tour of the Solid Waste facilities. Classes will be held Every Thursday from 6-8pm starting on October 10 at the Lakewood Community Center, expect for the schedule tour that will be held on October 26 from 8-noon. $10 per person and $5 for each additional family member.
