Traffic Alert: NB I-5 Blocked For Manhole Repair
Only one lane will be open for 2 to 3 hours as crews make repairs.
TACOMA, WA - Drivers headed northbound on I-5 this morning should prepare for delays. A manhole cover collapsed this morning in the northbound lanes near the Tacoma Mall. WSDOT crews are on scene, but will need to keep all but the left lane closed for up to three hours, according to Washington State Patrol.
Manhole fell in on itself NB I5/38th. WSDOT is working hard to get it fixed. All but left lane closed for the next 2-3 hours!
